T30test

# Calculator for the 30 min test.

The 30 min test is supposed to measure how many meters the athlete swims in 30 min with the best
effort. It is, however, hard to measure this accurately if you have a lot of swimmers
in your group. In addition, there is no guarantee that the athlete will hit the wall at
the exact test time ( 30 min.) That is where this calculator comes in handy.
Just time the swimmers when they're hitting the wall close to the 30 min time mark.
Write the athlete's time and the number of meters the athlete had at that moment.
The calculator will calculate how far the athlete would have swum in 30 min according
to the given speed. The average speed of a T30 test will accumulate close to
your V4 speed or lactate threshold speed. J. Olbrecht calculated that the accuracy
is about 97% compared to lactate testing.
Therefore it is also possible to use this test to calculate appropriate sim speeds for
different intensities.
The recommended swim speeds will be shown in the table under.

## How many meters did the athlete swim?:

The athlete swam:

meter on 30 min.
